nono, yeah imogen heap came first, but shes doing some shows by herself round the uk at the minute...i dont actually know her as "imogen heap", only through frou frou...he he.... um, yeah, so i have no idea what she sounds like by herself, but you prefer her solo? hmmm, less girly you say? hmmm. i mite try an catch her performing right back at you, ta
haha i dunno which one's the new her, i think imogen heap is the old name.. i like imogen heap a lot more than frou frou actually. i dunno.. frou frou is well, by it's very name, a lot more girly. i like both though. sorry am i confusing you?
hmm..interesting..thou MAYBE and i say maybe a right eye contact, you know the right kinda look, wood make your model and idea even better. But please dont listen to me, i can be wrong or didn't understand you right.
Nice shot Beck...
awesome tones as well.
Someone commented about how 'pointy' the model's shoulders seem to be.
I think it's only because of how she's posed. If her shoulders were 'rolled' back an inch or two, the 'pointiness' of her shoulder would be less pronounced.
It doesn't really matter. Her pose is great like that so I wouldn't change it anyway
If there's anything that I'd change, the extreme highilights seem to be almost too bright and the same can be said for the shadows (relative to each other. Altho you've tried to alleviate it by adjusting the extreme highlight levels to be lower). It's really only noticeable on the model's left shoulder and face (right of frame, accentuated by the blue 'ghosted' areas of blue between the highlights and shadows) Maybe a slightly weaker light or placing that particular light a few metres (maybe 2 or 3?) further away and trying to 'direct' the light into the same area.
And despite wat my whinging and whining might make you believe, I love this shot
hahah i always expect a long comment from you, thanks though
i wanted it this high in contrast, really set up the lights for this one. used a total of 5 studio lights for this.. filters, diffusers the works. was fun
5 lights? more than I was expecting (I was thinking you used only 4 lights).
this shoot must've been hard working fun
and Becky, you know I like to write/say a lot. thanks goodness you haven't heard how much I talk yet
