Round two of the Late Isabel series. This was taken for press releases for Greenbelt plaza. so the shoot was a mix of very fine to normal jewelry, prom clothes to beachwear. the whole mix gave me a massive headache after, but i'm happy with the overall shoot. The goth band, The Late Isabel, modeled for us.

At the end of the shoot, friends and family of the manager modeled as well. Gino's an awesome model.

Model: Gino Feraren

Good evening,

My name is Peter Sawyer and I write on behalf of Phototuts+ ([link])

I would like to feature this image in an article I am currently writing about the best male portraits on the web.

A link to the image, and the name of the piece would be given in the article.

Please let me know if you are ok with this ASAP.

Thanks Peter

amazing shot! i love how the colors and the shadows mixe together, it kinda makes it harder to distinguish if this really is a photo, or a digital rendition of this image. great work!

Fantastic shot ! I really love the ambience. May I ask what lighting you used, and what post-processing you did ?

This photo is amazing, the colours and the crop really make this something remarkable.
It also makes me think of Bryan Fisher as Henry 'J' Jekyll from Jekyll + Hyde (2006)

does it? cool, thanks!
this shoot was actually for a line of suits and dresses. the model brought along a plastic gun. his mom was in the studio when it happened and they were fighting over having a picture taken with him and the gun.

the son won in the end, haha. and everyone liked it. funny .. not as dramatic anymore now that you know it's plastic eh? probably shot bubbles, manic mode...

lol, nah still no less dramatic.. the photo makes it real in my mind ;P
If that's a plastic gun I want it :D ..I have yet to find a realistic looking gun for photos... and a nice place to take photos too lol... and I gotta make up some fake blood
I REALLY badly want to get into macabre & horror and alternative fashion photography.. but my parents would freak if I did it here... I'll probably rally together a bunch of people when school starts back up

well if you do want to go into macabre and horror, do it with style. learn from what you see on DA and try NOT to do what the rest are doing because honestly, it gets quite boring. girls in long dresses and blood.. guys clenching their teeth with a knife. blah. even a bright picture can be horrific, think about it. maybe the angle of giving photos a lot of thought and classy execusion will not scare your parents. ;)

LIke it very much. it reminds me on Zoster's song - Police :D

One day I will buy a gun and kill you
And myself
I will take justice in my hands baby :D
